Zuchex Istanbul: turning houseware buyers into distributors
Zuchex brings household goods buyers from Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia to Istanbul. A capture-and-follow-up plan for exhibitors.
Zuchex is Istanbul's international household goods and gift fair, held every September. For manufacturers of kitchenware, tableware, and home products it is the region's main meeting point with buyers from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.
The buyer profile is wholesale-heavy: chain buyers, importers, and distributors hunting for new suppliers and private-label partners. These are exactly the conversations that deserve structured capture, because one good contact can become a five-year customer.
Prepare a one-line qualifier per market: which countries do you sell to, what volumes, own brand or private label. Asking it in the first minute sorts serious buyers from browsers politely.
Capture in the buyer's context: photograph the card, note the market and product category, and flag the hot ones the same hour. Fair-week WhatsApp promises evaporate; a pipeline entry does not.
Follow up multilingual by default. Zuchex visitors do business in Turkish, English, Arabic, and Russian — sending the first email in the buyer's own language noticeably lifts replies.
After the fair, review per market: which countries produced leads, which meetings advanced, where distribution gaps remain. That map decides which international fairs earn your budget next year.
